Mother's Day Buying Guide 2026
Peonies, peonies and more peonies! Need we say more? Order the Mother's Day 2026 special today.
Mother’s Day feels differently when you’re the one behind the flowers. That’s what makes this moment so special on our end. This year we curated a fresh list of Mom's favorites, based on years of watching what resonates. It’s intuitive and very rooted in the relationships we’ve built with our clients.
After years of doing this, we have a pretty good read on what moms actually like. We see what gets reordered, what gets upgraded, what people linger over when they come into the shop. Moms tend to gravitate toward things that feel thoughtful but unfussy: lush, garden-style arrangements that feel alive and generous, soft but intentional color palettes, pieces that look like they belong in a beautiful home without trying too hard. They love when something feels personal—like it was made just for them, not pulled off a shelf.
As the owner of Bell & Trunk, it’s not just another busy holiday—it’s the one day where every arrangement carries a little extra weight. You’re not just sending something beautiful; you’re helping people say things that are often hard to put into words: thank you, I love you, I see you.
Warmly,
Vanessa
Mother's Day is about translating love into flowers.

Another fun year at Bouquets to Art
This time we were at the de Young!
There was something about Bouquets to Art 2026 that made us see flowers a little differently. What we saw went beyond mere floral arrangements—they were lively interpreters, colorful translators, even a little bit like performers taking the stage beside great works of art.
This year, we were paired with The Lightness of Being #4 by Howard Ben Tré—a piece that feels both grounded and impossibly airy at the same time. Translating cast glass and bronze into something fleeting and alive? No pressure.
But here’s the thing about bouquets—they’ve always been storytellers in disguise.
The word bouquet comes from the French for a “clump of trees,” which feels wildly inadequate for something so intentional.
In the Victorian era, bouquets were coded messages (yes, full-on secret language). A single stem could say I admire you… or please stop talking to me.
And the most ephemeral part? A bouquet is designed to peak and fade—unlike the art it sits beside. It’s a collaboration with time.
Which made this pairing feel especially poetic.
And then there was opening night—equal parts magic and mild disorientation (if you’ve ever tried to navigate the galleries mid-party, you know). We caught up with Bell and Trunk newlyweds Melissa Blaustein and Dave Saxe and Dave—without hesitation—just took off. Through the maze of art, a left here,… like he had an internal GPS calibrated exclusively to his grandparents collection.
